We recommend 30mm thick ply for the core of the worktop as this makes joining the worktops easy with standard undermount bolts. With laminate top and bottom the overall thickness is 32mm Other thicknesses can be supplied, please enquire.
You choose which laminate manufacturer to have for your protective top, Formica, Fenix or Laminate and Ply. All the laminate sheets meet the requirements of EN438-2 in terms of heat, scratch, and stain resistance.

The laminate is made 1300mm wide, which is why we sell the worktops in pairs as it costs the same to make a pair as it does to make 1.
The exposed ply edges need sealing to prevent dirt ingress and staining of the plywood. We recommend Osmo products for that purpose. On our support page you will find a short how to video to fully explain what to do.
